I'm getting real close myself. Time for a R&R camping weekend though.

Could use one of those too but not happening... Probably try to catch a quick shakedown run in a few weeks.

I hear you on that. Just want to get out and enjoy this great Wx before the heat of summer kicks in. Effectively leaves me with one more weekend for modding then a weekend to grocery shop and pack before hitting the road.

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
Anyone else cutting their mods timing close enough that the shakedown trip may just end up being Rock Therapy? :frusty:

Shock relocation and rear bumper install waiting for King to finish making my shocks. Still gotta fab a bed rack, fender and bedside rails, install a new roof rack (*finally* got Prinsu's tracking email this morning!), buy/program/install a radio, and configure the rear swingouts.

That's quite the list! I spent half of Saturday installing the Prinsu after painting it on Friday afternoon/evening.

I'm not messing with anything that moves (drivetrain, suspension, etc), but I have a lot of electrical work to do and a lot of armor to strap/weld on. The first time the CB gets fired up will certainly be in Moab :)

LOTS of wiring, dual battery setup, Solar charging system, with some random lights spread around here and there.
My shake down will be whatever dirt road I can find between my house and Moab. In actuallity I might be installing a couple things at BFE if there is some that wouldn't mind helping.

Nice. I have a ton of wiring to do too.

Yep exactly. But at least you are on par to have 1!!!

Did everyone order CVs from CVJ in the past few weeks? I called 3 weeks ago and they had plenty, now they're all out

Anyone up for welding sliders on for me at BFE? Will compensate with some cash and/or beer. I ordered them from BAMF quite a while ago but Jerry has been really backed up since moving to the new shop. It's looking more and more like a tight crunch to get them shipped up here, painted, and find someone to weld them on in time.

I will have the welder and I could weld them on as long as you don't expect pipe line quality welds.

That would be boss. As long as they don't fall off I don't mind what the welds look like. I'll see if Jerry can just bring 'em to BFE with him.
