I too have spent some months down there, been to the south pole, and to some of the more remote camps down there. Also been all over greenland.

I also built a 5 story tree fort back when I was in middle school, a ton of people knew about it, including the cops. It started by us taking stuff from a construction site near by, then once we got caught the site general contractor was cool, as long as we just took the stuff in the scrap piles. Well at the time we lived in an apartment complex in florida, and the manager there did not like us kids (always getting ourselves into some type of trouble) she called the cops and complained, the cops were not going to do anything, but it was on state land and I guess it was some type of liability. Long story short, they had to use a dozer and chain saws to remove everything - including 6 huge pine trees.

Lets, see - also I was driving in my old 94 mazda b4000 pickup truck doing about 75 when when my front left tire/brake rotor/everything off the spindle shoots past me. I had to pull over 3 lanes of traffic on 3 tires - and I did it without stalling the engine. (wheel bearings failed).

First time I was ever in a plane off the ground, I was in the pilots seat (age 11). a 1976 Cessna 172 (N733CM) (you never forget the tail number of the first plane you fly). It was my stepdads way of getting me over both my fear of heights, and flying. It obviously worked as I'm in the Air Force and I'm in school becoming a Flight Engineer.

I've driven from New York to Florida and back many times (as a passenger) I've driven from NY to San Antonio and back (myself), and I've driven NY to Little Rock (where I am now for a while).

I've been to 25 US states, spent time in New Zealand (Auckland, and mostly in Christchurch).

    Built Robots.

Got drunk on the top of a tall building after breaking into roof access with my buddies.

Theres more but I have to save some stuff for another time.

I guess you went to Antartica with the Air Force? I went as a civilian with the contractor at the time(ITT Antartic Services) in 1987. Also spent 2 weeks in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Had an affair, got divorced, sold my house, got married (new girl), quit my fulltime job, opened my own business, all within one year. Stressful, but I was ALIVE that year, baby! :D

Sidenote: Also caught my first 10 pound bass in two feet of water on a Berkley Red Shad Power Worm! :woot:

They said something another TW members have not done... Let me do the math:

    50,000 TW members
30,014 TW members who have smoke a joint at one time or another
29,940 TW members who have smoked a joint has listened to Willy Nelson while smoking a joint
429 TW members who have met Willy Nelson
100% number of people that have been in the presence of Willy Nelson that have been high either by direct or indirect smoking of the ganga

So 29,940 think they've smoked with Willy
429 TW members that did smoke with Willy

Which group are you a member of? ;)

in FL this happens daily/weekly, also replacing with 'gators'

    Let's see:

Won an M$ competition in HS, flown out to their headquarters for a week all expense paid.
Sold a car to a buncha drunk d-bags, one of which who decided to get naked and get in the car during the transaction (some were Marines)
Hit 2 trees, rolled my 92 EG hatch, not a scratch on me

Meh guess I haven't lived much for being 25.

I was about 5 feet away from President Clinton.....After the funeral for the 6 Worcester Firefighters killed in '99 a couple of my buddies and I were standing on a street corner eating hotdogs. The Presidential motorcade was leaving the Centrum and drove past us close enough to touch the car.Preceeding and following the Presidents Limo were a number of Police and Fire motorcycles and cars and a bunch of Suburbans with the tailgates open.....Sitting in the tailgates facing outwards were Secret Service agents with machine guns in their hands......Pretty cool.

I became a TW Moderator. :spy:

I had a guy fly over my shoulder, go through the windshield, and be skinned alive in front of me. He was both unrecognizable and dead afterwards. He was the only person in the car to not walk away. He was the only person in the car not wearing a seat belt.

I like to think that he didn't suffer long. I was told that he was probably knocked unconscious and paralyzed by the initial impact with the dash and windshield.

That was why I was a bit freaked out when we got in Rob's truck and I couldn't find the buckle for the seatbelt that had fallen under the seat. I thought I had played it cool, but I was a bit freaked out when we hit the road.

Sailed across the Pacific in an empty 900' long Super Tanker and during a storm needed to strap my self in bed at night so I wouldn't get tossed onto the wall.

got arrested in Mexico for pissing on the sidewalk (don't remember it and still don't drink tequila to this day)

went to the bottom of the ocean in a 3 person submarine

rented a car in Ireland and got it stuck in the ocean, left it there and just took my flight home.
