Nicole's dad was telling me the same thing yesterday. He does a trip to North Carolina to ride every spring and so far I've never had enough time to join.

The dragon? Been wanting to hit it ever since I started riding, still never have. And thanks dude! Got it all legal yesterday and took the wife for a ride. Felt amazing to be back on the street again.

Lol. Too many people suck at driving. That's why my motorcycle is designed for dirt.

 

Sad truth. Was going to work this morning and some dipshit changed lanes into my trucks lane. Had to drive into the shoulder to not get hit. You would think my loud ass m/t's would help people know there is someone next to them.

 

I see it every day. And the judges don't back the cops, so the cops don't bother.

I went right from a drz the sport tourer... Kinda looking for something inbetween in the near future.

 

I had a drz400sm, then a triumph sprint st 1050, now a wr250r and I'm thinking I need a set of super moto tires for it on a second set of wheels.

How is the top end of the WR compare to the 400? I am assuming longer trips on the highway are not as comfy?

 

I know nothing about bikes, so this might be a stupid question... can you easily change back and forth your rear wheel/sprocket set up with the one from the wr250x?
I thinking this way since the wr250x's sprocket is more for road use, so not only you'll have street tires but also be better geared for street as well...

My understanding is that tires and sprocket are the main differences between the R and the X.

 

The sprocket mounts to the wheel so yes you can easily swap both. But depending how many more/less teeth diference the sprockets are you might need a longer/shorter chain aswell.

 

This. unless you had an adjustable tensioner to help out maybe? Even then it would probably only be a couple teeth different.
