One guy has, and started a thread on it: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...sc-esd-frame-inspection-for-corrosion.370470/

Not really. The first round only went to certain states, mostly coastal regions. The second round expanded to 'specific cold climate areas', which includes us (see above linked thread). I still haven't seen a notification in the mail though.

Good to know, not entirely unexpected. Does that also apply even if the rust perforation is nowhere near where any welding was done? Because I can see that one going to court/arbitration. Reinforcing motor mounts or boxing the cab mount come to mind. Would drilling holes for bolt-ons also void said warranty or do you know?

Also, multi-quote be busted man. At least on desktop. I don't see the aforementioned insert/paste quotes button. I had to hit quote on each post to get it to appear in the reply box at the bottom.

Quick side note, as Ost was having issues with e-mail alerts for those who have that feature enabled.

E-mail alerts are set to go out once a day at 4PM PST. However, other members are not a fan of this, so it will be changed back to immediate within the next couple of days.

are you correcting for the odometer error now Phil? Might not be as bad as you think.

For instance, my tires are now 7.3% larger in circumference than my stock tires. Because of this, 100 miles on my odometer now equals 107.3 miles.

Means my 17.5 mpg now is actually almost 18.8 mpg

never really thought about it but when my ultraguage calculates distance compared to my odometer on the truck they are within 1 mile of each other every time and the ultraguage is telling me I'm getting an avg of 17mpg with my current setup. i only get 250miles and the E light comes on, now i know i still have plenty of gas left in the tank at that point but i was used to getting 350 miles on a tank, now I'm down to roughly 300 or under :D

im hopefully getting a DD honda VERY SOON!!!

    I get similar.
I know that my tires are bigger though and my odometer doesn't.
300 miles on my odometer is actually 322.5 miles traveled.
I'm not saying you won't lose mileage with larger tires, just that some of the calculated loss is not actual loss. :D
