You are absolutely correct. In my application it is a total POS. My fault? Doubtful. If the company had a phone number, email address or some form of contact information hey, a COMPLETE list of vehicles that it supports and the gauges available to that vehicle. Like I said it's cute little POS with lots of numbers that change from time to time. That's about it

My '13 with factory tow package, the owners manual and visor placard both say to tow only in 4, not D.

the only reason they say that is to avoid constant unlocking and locking of the torque converter and shifting from 4th to 5th.... if you can hold 5th lockup while towing, you can leave it in 5th (D)

ill average ~ 150+-20* depending on ambient temps after a long time at 5th lockup on the highway.

Pan temps with the torque converter unlocked can get up there but never seen temps over 205* and the only time i saw it above 200 was for about a 5 min period where i was doing 80+ up the back side of the grapevine in 3rd gear towing the boat just giving her in like 105* ambients.

I've had my UG for a couple of months now. I got it mainly for the temp readings and to serve as a code reader when needed down the road. I was hoping for more from the MPG part. I was a little disappointed that the Tacoma did not support an active fuel sensor. If you follow the calibration procedures, it comes very close to real world MPG. I would have preferred a closed loop tied to the fuel sensor. All in all for the price point its a decent gauge.

Yes, that's what I have been saying throughout this thread. The company needs to be more accessible and have more information about what their product can do with each specific vehicle OR be available to answer such questions. Yet, they have no contact information at all which I find amazing.

Thanks. I've been messing with my torque app and wanted to make sure my temps are reporting correctly.
