Hey, newbie here, just wanted to join in on the fun in the NorCal thread instead of reading along like a creeper. I am pretty interested in mods and any good body shops in the north bay so if you have any ideas shoot them my way!

Spotted Alex's blue beast in Livermore on my way home. I don't think he saw me in my white Ford Focus.

Check out Lost Campers in San Francisco. They do van conversion rentals and have recently started running RTT's on a bunch of their rentals, i imagine they'd rent just a tent. They are super cool too. Wife and I rented a Astro van conversion from them years ago, before I owned a rad Taco, and did a whole southwest national park tour.

    Worth a shot.

I'd let you borrow ours but we'll be in it next weekend!

I got this from Cal 4 Wheel:

Send a letter to Livermore City Council in support of Carnegie SVRA plan

Letters needed prior to May 11 City Council meeting

We are getting very close to being able to use the new property! However, the opposition continues to express their views to the Livermore City Council. Council members are getting anti-Carnegie emails from the usual folks as a way to gin up opposition from the Council at their May 11, 2015 meeting.

Once again, we are going to have to show up in large numbers (local riders from Livermore and nearby are important because they are voters!). We are asking you to do two things:

    • Click the button below to automatically write a letter to the City Council. You will be asked to fill in your contact information (if we don't have it there for you already), and then will be taken to the text of the letter. Please take a moment to write your own comments, or use what we have already written for you. Either way it only takes a few minutes and will show the council members how important this issue is to us.
    • Attend the May 11, 2015 Livermore City Council meeting. It starts at 7PM in the Livermore Council Chambers, 3575 Pacific Avenue, Livermore, CA 94550.

Anyone heading down to SoCal and could pick up a rear bumper? I'd definitely be willing to pay for your time and gas.
