but what did you do today?

Also how bad does your truck wander with that wide of a track? I really dont see trucks with wheels sticking out that far here where I live except Mexicans from Baja.

Thanks..went all OCD painting it..these custom bumpers are stout, wacked a Malibu at 3 mph and totaled it! Lol:facepalm:my buddy and I half thought about painting nipples and using the D-rings as piercings..:headbang: not sure if I should blame the beer or the paint fumes for that!

Looks like the extra bars would block some of the headlight beam, is it noticeable?

that's why I got it, but now I'm reading on the world wide web and most people are saying that there is different grease for the inners and outers

I'm extremely confused. and of course, the auto store people don't know shit when you ask them questions about this stuff

It crossed my mind Hahaha not going to happen though. Definitely going to go with nicer/ aftermarket bushings

The truck has 215k on it. Is there any benefit to replacing the arms? The mechanic i talked to said i might as well replace them. He didnt try to sell me on buying them from him, he gave me a name of a company that makes some. I guess toyota doesnt make all that great of control arms? Idk

The LCA bushings are just a total pita to replace. Often they just do the full arm.
I've talked to a few fabricators to see what stock width replacement ones. Cost is too high though or they don't seem interested.

Today, we replaced my leaf springs with Wheelers' four-leaf. Very nice improvement in ride.

I've used the Moly infused version of that grease and it worked well for U-joints and the slip yoke. I think you should be fine with that for CV joints.

I hope it works out well, I can't imagine that something that says it works on CV joints and all other manner of high activity parts wouldn't do the job. I am coming to the crossroads on one of my CVs as well. It has just started to push grease out of one of the seals, and it is in otherwise fine condition so I may reboot it. Take pics as you do it, actually, prolly better to find someone to take pics because you'll be covered in grease I imagine.

These guys had mentioned its use for CVs:

I doubt it. It's so close to the lense so it probably does nothing. Same reason why you can still see with your headlights with a brush guard

I haven't. But if Ben can do it...anyone can.

Just getting the C clips out is a bit of a paint, and its a messy process. My dad has done it too. I was going too, but, now i don't need them because of LT.
