    Anyone makes a Tacoma bumper like this one?

    Using flat stock seems like a much better design for the intended purpose, compared to round pipe bumpers.
    Round pipe "bull bars" may look better (and it's just a matter of taste) but if they were better cops would use them.

    It seems any pipe would be likely to crush; pipes are not designed to work in that direction. Flat stock however, is designed to take hits in this direction.

    But I disgress. Ever seen any on a Tacoma? Could this be a business opportunity, one based on function rather than looks?

    I've never seen these on a truck but I tell you what, I sure could have used them day before yesterday - had to shove my dad's truck (Nissan) up the driveway as his starter quit.

    As I mentionned, that flat-bar design is all about function.
