So I made up a front recovery bracket to replace the crappy one that comes on the non TRD offroads. These are lasered out of 1/2" plate for the base, 1" plate for the piece that accepts the d-ring, and then welded together with a 3/8" fillet weld. They have a 1" dia hole in them to suit a 3/4 or 7/8 d-ring and they're just painted black with Tremclad. To mount it, I just re-used the bolts from the stock bracket.

If anyone is interested, i'll let them go for $50 plus shipping

I'm from Ontario Canada, and may drive down to the border 55605 (MN) to ship if I can sell like 5.

Thanks for the recovery bracket. Nice to have a secure place to use a D-ring shackle.

Looks nice. Im guessing it doesn't fit with the TRD skid plate?

Something like this for the driver side that would work with the TRD skid would be nice....even if I had to drill 2 holes for the mounting.

I don't think they would fit because it comes straight out vs. Matt w/ Bullet Proof Fab makes something very similar that works with the trd skid but it bends to the right from the mounting point. I think coming straight out the skid would be in the way. (some cutting could make it work easily I would think) Don't quote me of course as I'm only guessing based on the two designs I've seen.

Unfortunately, I don't have a TRD skid plate so I can't try it out to see if it would fit.

I'd be interested too if they work with the trd offroad skid
