Ok folks need info and opinions from those who have installed or worked close with both Katzkin and Clazzio. I realize Clazzio is a cover that goes over the existing fabric and Katzkin is a replacement for the stock seat fabric cover. Does Clazzio really fit tight enough and stay tight over time to look like a true leather interior? I'm on the fence as to which way to go. I can get Katzkins for 575.00 delivered and would have a shop install them. Clazzio I would do myself but I've heard different comments on them. Need some true life experience, time installed and used and some pic if your so inclined. Thanks

2 very different products. katzkin will be as good or better than OEM. clazzio are covers, but they look and feel good and are easy to install yourself

But I guess my question is does Clazzio mimic the Katzkin well enough in look and in some regard longevity. Look factory and non sag or wrinkled look and wear
    over time.

I don't know about longevity. Wife has katzkin in her venza. It's nice. Looks oem and feels great. I have Clazzio's (full pvc) in my truck and it's not quite as nice but it's not even leather. Both fit about the same. Mine are tight and smooth. Hers are 4 years old mine only 6 months. Your talking 3 or 400 bucks versus over 1000 once installed.

In your opinion they fit equally the same? Would you be kind enough to snap a picture of your Clazzio interior?

I got Clazzios on my 2014 Tahoe and they look amazing, everyone thinks its factory leather. Only thing that sucks about clazzio, is that if you want custom ie two tone, you going to wait 4 months or more. And honestly you need the two tone for the taco. All black looks odd, and all gray looks odd in the taco. Someone posted that they were able to find a website that happened to have a two tone set in stock..Lucky is all I can say.

I also went with the Clazzios seat covers (leather insert) and they look great. When I took the truck in for the first oil change the service rep was even impressed with the fit and quality. I went with the full gray, just because I didn't want to wait four plus months. The covers have held up extremely well and that's saying something after you factor in two rambunctious dogs - it's amazing how much dirt / sand they bring into the truck, but hey their dogs!

Rims and tires , exhaust , stereo , Bhlm ,Changed carpet to black from grey. toytec ultimate lift kit. Allpro front bumper and light bar. In process of blacking out interior. Otrattw switches, black vinyl armrest mod, clazzio leather seat covers with heaters, flowmaster dual exhaust, hornblasters train horns,
Clazzio will sell to you and send to your house. Katzkin want you to buy from one of there dealers and have them install it.

Yes. but I think I found additional benefits to Katzkins from the Upholstery shops I spoke to. They have padding sewn in areas that give the final cover a distinct and full edged and very tight no sag look and extra comfort. The cost was reasonable from the Katzkin supplier I dealt with. 575.00 shipped. Granted, one of the best and most reputable Upholstery shops in this area wants $1000.00 to install the Kit. But its also a true Leather interior. The cloth interior in there now has been fraying. I had the bottom cushion and cover on drivers side replaced under warranty at only 1500 miles. Now at 5000 miles the back is fraying and the passenger seat, which has only been sat in half dozen times if that, is starting to fray around edges also. I am disappointed in the interior quality of the truck. Not for long though! Other than that, its been great.

I was torn but in the end ordered the Katzkin. Its the single color gray to match my gray interior. Nothing over the top.

From everything I'm reading, installing the Katzkins I purchased should not cost 1000.00 at a Upholstery shop? What are others paying?

Automotive Specialty Distributers. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-2015-TOYOTA-TACOMA-DOUBLE-CAB-SR5-KATZKIN-GREY-LEATHER-INTERIOR-SEAT-COVER/301613699412?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid=111001&algo=REC.SEED&ao=1&asc=30766&meid=2bbdaded9f52404588d7a079b0431c6c&pid=100033&rk=1&rkt=4&sd=301613699412. And Katzkin says they are good folks. Ordered Saturday shipped today. I also found a reputable shop that will install them for $75.00 houir. Said would take about 6 hours. Original quote I got was $1000.00. Big disparity around here.
