What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I went with 24 for a possible quieter sound and again it is but barely but it has a nice lower tone.

Since I have used a 14 and an 18 in the past.

14 sounded like a ricer
18 was nice but loud and a little raspy
24 is lower tone and little quieter than 18.

Also to keep in mind I have a custom piping routed to the rear corner by the bumper and not dumped at the axle, that sounds like shit and you lose back pressure so you will have the back-pressure burps more often and lose a tad of the low end power in favor of top end.

That was my experience at least.

 

I would appreciate it and thats what im looking for is a low throaty sound thats not too loud.

Yeah i like the magnaflow sound better but yours sounds pretty good!

I did offset to cent to tuck mine up a bit.

I disagree. I think traffic has been about the same.

The best part is Bob is very active and responsive to what we want. He will constantly be tweaking it to make it better. The future is going to be awesome.

No that feature is sadly gone.

The 18 or 24 is nice. But the 14 isn't ricer. I wouldn't say that at all. What I have and granted it is loud, but man it sounds great.

The 18 sounds great as well. Ive heard it on 4 other tacomas. Good blend of growl and rumble. And quiet.

That grill is sick..I don't have one and been looking for ideas to build one. I never really liked the round Toyota emblems and was just planning on taking the "toyota" and center bar from like an 87 88..where did you get the letters?

 

Need to color match the corner lights trim Logan!
