Yup. I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

I've got a full extra set of front shock bushings/washers for 5100's if anyone is interested. I ordered two from Wheeler's by accident and never got around to returning them. $20 from wheeler's, I'll take $15 shipped.

So I have a question for you guys. There's rumors of a diesel Tacoma coming out in the future.... I've never owned a diesel nor have I worked on them. I've heard people rave about them and how long they last and the like. Would it truly be worth getting a diesel Tacoma? What type of maintenance/upkeep would it need in comparison to a gas engine. I'm considering trading up for it if it ever happens but only if they offer manual as well. Anyone have any experience with them either owned or working on them?

The toyota straight six diesels are unkillable. I just can't stand diesels. It'd have to get 100mpg and make at least 500whp before i'd consider a diesel in a tacoma

LMAO. I'd be fine with 26mpg and 275hp. But to each their own. I'm very interested in a diesel but only if it's still a manual I was looking at the diesel Ram and its not even 4wd and only auto that's not a truck to me. The auto part is what it is bit why would you only offer it in 2wd!? Not that I would buy a Ram. I was just looking around. If they do come out with a diesel Tacoma it would be enough to get me to trade up. Otherwise I'll be keeping this one until I die or it does which ever comes first Lol.

The little duramax diesel in the 2017 colorado will be worth investigating.

I doubt toyota builds one to compete but i won't say it'll never happen because the rest of the world loves them

Yea i was looking and Toyota doesn't seem to be willing to take the risk of developing a diesel engine for the US thanks to emissions standards and the cost of diesel being higher then normal fuel. I don't blame them it's a huge risk to spend that money in R&D to only have a small percent buy one. I hope it comes to the US but I think it will take some time before they risk it.

I know you can get the older ones but looking at the 2015 it wouldn't let me change the options

I was wrong just went back to the Ram Truck site and it allowed me to select it. So you can still get 4x4 and diesel atleast. It is limited to automatic though.

It appears that none of the Ram drivetrains include the option for manual that makes me a sad Panda.
