    I suppose so. Not sure how that'd help though. I have no idea what I would be looking for.

    Interesting. one is at a constant 1v. The other is pretty steady above .55. Wonder if I'm running too rich, which would explain my shit mileage.

    My UG lists one as bank 1 o2 sensor and is fluctuating, and the other as bank 1 o2 wide, which is a steady 1v. I'm not sure which is which. But I think the fluctuating one should be pre-cat.

    Not sure if I missed it, but have you thrown any codes besides the P0420 that one time driving to Seward?

    A few months back, but it was a shift solenoid code. Shouldn't be related.

    I think I might have found something..?

    for bank 1 sensor 1 the sensor may be faulty if:

    After engine is warmed up, A/F sensor output* does not change when conditions (a), (b), (c) and (d) continue for at least 1.5 min.:
    *: Output value changes at inside of ECM only

    (a) Engine speed: 1,500 rpm or more
    (b) Vehicle speed: 40 – 140 km/h (25 – 87 mph) (c) Throttle valve is not fully closed
    (d) After starting engine y 140 sec.

    Well assuming the one that says bank 1 o2 sensor is indeed the first one, it may be in working order because it does fluctuate.

    or more, or 2.8 V (0.56 V)* or less (see dwg. 2) under any conditions as well as the above conditions,

    the A/F sensor may have a short–circuit.

    *: When using the OBD II scan tool (excluding hand–held tester).

    From what I can tell, they both should be fluctuating.

    Interesting. So if I'm understanding that right, it may be the post cat o2 sensor that is bad. because it's a steady 1v +/- .005v.

    That's assuming the "bank 1 o2 wide" is indeed the secondary sensor.

    If its that steady yeah I'd definitely say that is probably the issue. it's just a matter of figuring out which is which I guess

    Are they identical? if so I would just buy one and test it in both to see if it changes.

    No, the upper one is technically called an air/fuel sensor and the lower is an o2 sensor. So I don't think they're interchangeable

    If the post cat one is bad then the cat could also be bad.
