    when I was in school a kid was in a bunch of shit for having "spent" shotgun shells in the back of his truck...He called his dad and he came up there and said, " yea, went bird hunting" i guess they let him go but WTF?! some of this stuff is a little out of hand

    Somebody needs to look for a better spot to mount that and make some bolt on brackets for the rest of us.:D Anybody have a suggestion for a better location or have the ability to fab up some brackets that would bolt on?

    When I was a senior (1982) in high school in Conroe Texas (N of Houston) I was called out of class to the office. Seems I had forgotten to take my 20g
    shotgun out of the gun rack of my 64 GMC pickup, after a weekend of squirrel hunting. My truck was parked in the student parking lot right next to one of the school buildings. My punishment...they excused me for the rest of the day so I could take the gun home (I lived 20 mi from the school). Never was another word said and I never got in any trouble over the incident.

    I wouldn't really want one that wouldn't mount up under the truck. I want a little stash box I can lock stuff in and not have to worry about anybody ever getting at it.
