No, that would just make little cells of condensation. Unless you drilled sideways holes in every cell...

I went to home depot and got some of the thick green air filters that are about an inch thick and stuck them inside the zippered mattress cover on the bottom side. Super cheap and worked well for the last year. They will compress and need to be replaced eventually but for ~$20 its not a bad solution.

Bolt with a fender washer under the head to capture the mat, running through the base plate to a nylon locking nut on the bottom side in each corner of the mat on both sides (8 points total). Mat is cut in half. Works like a dream and cost < $10

Was seriously considering selling my CVT and getting a Ruggedized Tepui. But, as much as I love the orange, I've decided to just fix all of the small imperfections caused from poor shipping and weak straps.

Got a few mods I plan to do to mine later this year:

    -Lights for tent and annex
-Replace all straps with buckle straps
-Cover the platform in some rubber mat material
    -Bedline some metal pieces
-Re-mount tracks to better match up with bed rack

Yeah, I was serious about loving the orange. Very tempting haha

Yeah, I've looked at their site, it'll be a few more months before purchasing begins though.

I'm going to use something like this to cover the white base.

If it's still in warranty give them a call and see what they will do. In the mean time I would just use some duct tape to patch it up for now.

I bought the tent used and it's a year old. Would a tire patch work or should I look at something more rugged?

Yup, because I'm tired of seeing the ugly saran wrap looking stuff full of creases. Plus it has a couple indents in it from shipping.

I believe the warranty is 2 years. Not sure if it requires paperwork you might not have such as the proof of purchase but still would be worth giving them a call or talking to Adam on here. Where is the tear and how big is it? If it's due to something rubbing on it such as the ladder then you might want something more rugged.

It's near the rear passenger side corner. I will contact Adam and see what he recommends to do with it.

Looks like the tent was dropped on the corner and that's why I have a rip in the cover. I will need to take the top bolts out and straighten both hinges and I'm hoping to just re drill the track openings for the annex 20150502_083631.jpg20150502_083625.jpg
