    Can I get some opinions...I bought a shell off CL about 2 years ago for $100 so it was a steal but not the same color as my truck and not in the best condition paint wise.

    Option 1: Leave as is
    This is basically what my truck looks now plus dipped badges


    Option 2: Color matched shell (would be done with duplicolor perfect match or similar rattle can)


    Option 3: Rattle can shell black and paint/dip wheels, bumpers, etc (ignore the black taillights)


    I'm kind of leaning towards the blacked out look but that is pretty common these days. Let me know what you think!

    Go black, color matching never looks right when its not the exact same paint applied in the exact same way.

    Black always looks good as a contrast color to silver.

    Yeah I was thinking the same thing thanks :thumbsup:

    That looks good too I just don't want to pay a shop to paint it and like others have said its hard to DIY color match, especially on something with a big surface area like that

    Just look at the build thread
    Joined the Monte club. Lost my passenger side lower ball joint on a pretty steep downhill portion of a trail. Took a while but we finally got it winched backward up on to flat ground. Going to town now to pick up the new one and going to come back and swap it and my CV on the trail to finish wheeling this weekend.
