    All good.

    Morning all.

Fishing pics showing up ... that's a great sign. :woot:

No work this week, I'm on leave and fly to STL Wednesday morning. My NCOIC and "right hand man" for my last 6 yrs on active duty has his retirement ceremony on Friday. 5 and a half years since I retired from active duty, it feels like it went by quick. It'll be nice to see him and his family again. :)

    Hope all are well.

This past weekend was the 2015 NFL Draft. Two players who started out in our program here at Lackawanna College and then transferred to West Virginia University were selected. Kevin White was the #7 pick and went to the Chicago Bears. Mark Glowinski was the only interior linemen selected by the Seattle Seahawks and was picked in the 4th Round. They are both tremendous young men who realized the results of a focus on both academics and athletics at our college. Today, our head coach brought me these two signed helmets. :woot:

And, after talking about it for several weeks, we have decided to add a new family member. We're not sure which will be ours but this litter is just two days old and one of the 4 females (and one male) will be ours if all works out.

    Afternoon all:
We managed to catch 10 walleyes, 4 strippers, 2 smallmouths, and a bluegill last night, we only kept the walleyes.
Nothing big, but the walleyes out of this lake are averaging between 19-22".

    Hi Sue!
Not if we can help it!!!! :D
In the middle 70's to mid 80's, this lake was a tremendous walleye fishery. Hundreds of fishermen were targeting them, and it got pretty well fished out.
They started stocking them again and it's starting to pay off, until the hoards realize that they can be caught in numbers once again. Until then, the young guy and myself are pretty tight lipped about catching them, but if there is anything written about them being caught in good numbers again, the place will be a zoo. It's there for us now, so it's time to take advantage of what's available.
    They are GOOD eating!

Welcome:cool Dodge!!! I had a 1942 Ford Jeep at one time, should have kept it just for S&G. Was a fun vehicle--no air, heck the thing didn't have a heater either!

The best lawyer story of all time . . . Bar none.

The United Way realized that it had never received a donation from the city's most successful lawyer. So a United Way volunteer paid the lawyer a visit in his lavish office.

The volunteer opened the meeting by saying, 'Our research shows that even though your annual income is over two million dollars, you don't give a penny to charity. Wouldn't you like to give something back to your community through the United Way?'

The lawyer thinks for a minute and says, 'First, did your research also show you that my mother is dying after a long, painful illness and she has huge medical bills that are far beyond her ability to pay?'

Embarrassed, the United Way rep mumbles, 'Uh . . . No, I didn't know that.'

'Secondly,' says the lawyer, 'did it show that my brother, a disabled veteran, is blind and confined to a wheelchair and is unable to support his wife and six children?'

The stricken United Way rep begins to stammer an apology, but is cut off again.

'Thirdly, did your research also show you that my sister's husband died in a dreadful car accident, leaving her penniless with a mortgage and three children, one of whom is disabled and another that has learning disabilities requiring an array of private tutors?'

The humiliated United Way rep, completely beaten, says, 'I'm so sorry, I had no idea.'

And the lawyer says, 'So . . . If I didn't give any money to them, what makes you think I'd give any to you.

Looks like all the toys are ready Mike!

:annoyed:Just saw another coyote out in the back yard, grabbed the shotgun and some #4 buck, but couldn't get the light and the gun on him to get a shot. One thing I didn't do was set up for night hunting.
