I have been noticing a problem what I apply the brakes on my truck, i get a shtter in the right front, I took a quick look this morning and noticed that the pads where wearing at a angle instead of square plumb, anyone ever have this problem? I trying to figure out what causes it so i fix it

sounds to me like you have a sticking or faulty caliper. you need to take the brakes apart, and see whats causing the caliper to do this. you may be able to get a rebuilt caliper at autozone pretty cheap and install it. also, you will need new brake pads, and need to turn your rotors when adding the new pads.

Like tacomaman said.... Since there are two pistons in there, one of the pistons could be stuck open.

I would get a rebuilt caliper for the bad side. Have both rotors checked for warpage and have them both turned. A new set of brake pads for both.

I know this post is old. but i did a search and i think i have the same issue, is this common.
I have a shutter only when coming to a complete stop and only like the first 3 times and then i cant make it do it again until the car sits off for a while

whens the last time the brakes were done? sounds like maybe a rotor could be warped a little....if the calipers are good.

maybe for the most part, but when the old rotors were warped on my truck....you felt them while slowing down no matter what speed you were going.

best bet is to take the wheels off and pull the pads out and check for evenness that way.............you can see if the piston boots are torn that way also.
