I'm gonna assume it was the fluid film getting in there since the squeaking is now gone after cleaning. I can re-check torque if it continues to squeak though.

Anyone have any advice on clearing grease out of UCA bushings? I'm getting this fucking annoying clicking sound out of my front driver suspension and I believe it is from my UCA bushings since it started after I tried to grease them. I pumped a little more grease into them but all it did was bulge the bushings out some more. I want to clear everything out then re-grease to see.

It "clicks" almost non-stop no matter what type of road I'm driving on. I'm also getting a weird vibration out of the same area sometimes when I pull out of a parking space or driveway just when starting off.

I have the same problem with bulging uca bushing.. Never addressed it tho. Getting a list of maintenance mods together and geting new bushings is on it. I figure the current bushing will be permanently warped and unuseable.

Ok so I removed the zerks, loosened the UCA bolt, and let most of the grease out. The bushings are not bulging anymore, even after I tightened the bolt back up. (Yay) However, I still hear the slight clicking noise somewhere out of the front end. It seems to be not as loud after I let most of the grease out, but that may just be my imagination.

Still got creaking out of the bed area since the fluid film treatment...I tried to narrow it down this morning but I couldn't pinpoint it since I was trying to shake the bed and listen by myself. I sprayed some more 409 on the bed mounts and also on the rear shock bushings (not sure if that was an incorrect move or not...) and it also seems to be not as loud but I did that about a week ago and the creaks went away then came back so I have no idea what to do.

Here's the GP video I took of the front end after working on it. I watched it and didn't see anything (or hear the clicks that I hear in the cab) but maybe you guys have a better eye for problems than I do.

Matt your truck has arthritis? It's too young for that. I love those wheels man, they will look great. If you need help looking for the creaking just let me know. Haven't been on in a while, wtf happened to the forum?!?! It's all...WEIRD!

Ah forgot to mention... that annoying squeaking sound I had out of my front suspension... yeah, that was my headlight rubbing up against the lower bolt mount on the fender. I never put that bolt back in and the plastic mount on the headlight was rubbing the metal mounting point on the fender. 10 seconds with a flat head screwdriver fixed a year and a half of random squeaks.

Only noise I hear was at ~0:17. Same noise I've been chasing and can't find.

Yeah, I've got creaking out of the rear leafs or something, clicking in the front left, and another noise out of the front right when going over bumps/potholes. It's driving me insane.

I get it sometimes coming out of the driveway or taking right turns. Weird clunk that I really don't like…

Yeah only at low speeds, not necessarily when I'm on the brakes. I know you've been having trouble with your brakes?

I thought it was the pads moving around but it has started to do it at low speeds whether or not I'm on the brakes.

My pads have always made a light clunk sound when I first apply the brakes. Has been like that since new. They are still the same ones at 60k so not sure if it will go away when I finally change them.

I have the same clunk as in the beggining of your video. Mines at slow speed cutting the wheel to get in or get out of a parking spot, not necessarily the brakes. I've had this convo a few times now and at best had come up with the LCA bushing causing it. I know V5ioV replaced his and added zerk fitting but not sure if he is still hearing the clunk or that solved it.

The other noises I can live with now (kind of) but I am really getting fucking pissed off at this creaking out of the rear end. It's like the bed, bed mounts, shocks, and rear leafs just creak at once if you pull on the rear or make turns...

Nothing has helped to get rid of it...I think fluid film got somewhere in one of the above parts and now I can't get it out...

Does your truck clunk when you turn your steering wheel from full lock left to right? Mine was. Mine was making several little clunks when I did this at a stop or reversing out of my driveway which has a little incline. All of my tie rods and bolts etc are tight and it sounds like it's coming out of my steering rack.

I think I fixed the creaking :woot:

Sprayed some 409 (may or may not be good...) on the leaf spring shackles and bushings and it seems to have stopped. Now just gotta figure out the clicking in the front left and the ringing(?) noise in the front right going over potholes.
