You say that because you don't want any. It's different if you want kids. I love my kids. 3 boys. 3 biggest pains in the ass/sacrifices made ever. But to me it's totally worth it.

We all have different priorities. Some people like to put themselves 1st. Others like to sacrifice and put kids 1st. Either way is cool by me. I don't think people are crazy to not want them. I get it. I honestly wouldn't know what to do without them now. I'd feel a little empty. #realfeels.

Sort of the boat I am in. I love my hobbies, but I would love to have kids to teach the things I like. I don't really want to raise a kid by myself though, this puppy was stress enough for now. Little shit broke his leg a couple of weeks ago and that was all I could handle.

Truth! My wife and I have 2 dogs and that is enough for me. I love the freedom to do what I want, when I want.

In my circle of friends I am the only one with kids. For me I wouldn't have it any other way but can understand others decision not to want them. At first they though I was nuts but I honestly think that watching them grow up has changed a few of their minds. My 30-40 year old bachelor buddies love my kids, they come to the birthday party and even ask to take them places. While having kids is a huge sacrifice it doesn't mean that you freedom is over. We still have guns and motorcycles, go camping and fishing we just do it together now.

I'm with this guy. Having a family isn't that hard and for me is much more rewarding. To me dating and girlfriends is much harder and time consuming. Besides who wants to be the aging perv at the clubs/bars hitting on girls half their age?

Dude, I wish this was the case for me. Both of my parents (divorced) have actually suggested to me that I don't need to be married to have a kid. They have 6 grand daughters and desparately want a grandson.

I'm getting married soon and plan on having children, but I almost want to hold off on it just to piss them off.

I totally understand the people who say they don't want kids. I get it. I think I could live the majority of my life with no regrets about not having kids. But I can just imagine that as I grew into old age that I would really miss not having had that experience.

Dogs and children are surprisingly similar, both can be very annoying if not raised right. How many times have you been annoyed by someones child because the parent just lets them do whatever they want? Thats how I feel with most pet owners. However, my child never shit on the floor, cleans her own messes, she makes her own food most of the time and even makes me food sometimes. When was the last time your dog made dinner? Or set the table? Or took out the trash? Or helped clean the yard? Or did anything productive to help? Kids are not just a hassle if you are actually a parent and raise them right

I don't expect dogs to make me dinner and all that other stuff you listed. Ever. Most people would not expect their dog to do those things. I have seen dogs get beers from the fridge and that's pretty handy. Maybe you could train one to set a table as well?

They each have their own benefits. I'm just saying it works kinda the same, Ive seen plenty of pain in the ass dogs but that is because the owners didn't raise them right, if kids are a pain in the ass its because they werent raised right. Neither are a pain in the ass if done right, they can actually be enjoyed. I used to think exactly like you and saw kids as nothing but a pain, but that is before I had one. You cant even imagine the feeling of seeing something you created, its crazy

I like quite a few kids. My buddies son Porter is awesome and he is 6. He's rad and all sorts of fun.

My sisters kids are annoying. They are good kids but super annoying.

I'm super uncle and I love handing the kids back after a few hours. I'll play with them and wear them down. Then send them to you hungry and cranky haha!

I wouldn't have one if we didn't have an "oops" kind of thing right after we got married.

And that is the #1 lesson that most people cant understand. When a kid kicks and screams in the store and you give in and buy the candy bar you just reinforced the behavior and everyone else gets to enjoy it for years to come lol. If you never give in from day one they know it doesnt work
