ANYONE IN SOCAL (i'm in the OC) help me with satoshi

I've got a bsp grill and the grillcraft sprots grill insert, i will pay labor for somone to help me with sanding/painting so i can recess my grill!!

 

how much? haha. the satoshi mod is really time consuming and really not fun to do. The end result is sick though.

Ok, so you have the center portion cut out but that's it?

Do you have tape to tape of the grille surround, so you don't get fiberglass resin or bondo on it?

 

i have the center piece cut out, i didnt use a dremel i used a sander to cut it so theres big chunks, i mean i could take the time to sand the chunks down tommorow, i just needh elp with the fiberglassing/prep for paint/paint/ and attachment of the grill, i could go buy the tape too no biggie

I saw your post and was wondering if you were going to tell him. When are you going to try it on yours?

Eddie-Try and sand down the sides where you cut it and then tape off the grille. Let me know when you have that done so I can help with the fiberglassing. It's not that tough but is a pain to work with since it makes a mess.

what kind of tape should i use

 

Just get some blue painters tape around 1.5-2 inches wide

Lol you have 2 grilles you want to Satoshi? You going to sell the chrome one? Is the chrome one have the center portion cut out?

 

haha i only have one i bought the bsp one to satoshi and my car came with the chrome one, both have the middles cut out, help me sand my black one im trying to do it right now but i left waaaay too much of the center i dont htink i'll ever finish sanding it this way i need a dremel or something where are you located?! come take this chrome one off my hands and help me sand this bitch down haha

 

Lol I try sending you a text later today when I'm off to see if your busy. Just get the taping out of the way and I'll try and remember to bring a palm sander instead of the dremel to help things move along.
