Meh, sounds like a pretty stupid mistake being blown out of proportion. I'm glad our PM went to talk to the troops over there and was, at one point, touring positions only several miles from the Kurdish front lines. I'd like to see Thomas Mulcair do that because, news flash, he wouldn't go anywhere near that place.

 

It breaks all protocols for reporting from a military base in a combat area especially when dealing with special forces

I don't disparage Harper at all for going to support the troops there , not sure the feds pick up the tab if the opposition feels like going though

I didn't say it was right. Mistakes do happen. I'm willing to bet some staffer lost his job over something like this.

 

Yes. Not for sure that it will be a majority but I think it will go that way. Edmonton will go all NDP, Calgary will go mostly NDP, and then they will pick up the odd seat in the angrier rural area's to make it a majority.

That or the PC's will squeak out a win somehow lol.

All I know is that the WR isn't going to win and that's all that honestly matters to me at the end of the day. The WR is full of people who make the Tea Party look tame. I can deal with an NDP government and they will have some fresh ideas that will help the province. Likely taxes will go up and service won't actually improve but that's just the way it's going to have to be.

Polls were wrong last election. There is still a large anti-leftist movement in Alberta. I can see the PC's picking up undecided and WR votes today from people who are following the election just to try and poop on the NDP.

Honestly I foresee a NDP victory.
