I'm not a fan of a mandated amount of pit stops

 

Bigger fuel tanks would allow them to push and not have to manage fuel , an additional set of tires for the race would allow them to push on tires if they wanted to as well

 

Yep , that would have to be increased as well

They are at 30% fuel savings vs the V8 era , give back , say , 15% of that

 

Race distance has been a fixed parameter for pretty much the entire modern F1 era , I doubt they would monkey with that , but if they do go to 1000bhp versions of these hybrid engines I think fuel capacity and flow rates will need to go up anyway

It basically is impossible to run 60 qualifying laps without refueling

 

Well , qualifying laps are done with no more than 2 or 3 laps worth of fuel . At the start of the GP , cars have 100kg of fuel on board and 1 kg of fuel adds approx 1/10 second average to your ultimate lap time in qualifying

So , yeah , impossible

 

I agree with adding an extra set of tires. Then the drivers wouldnt have the thought of managing their tires as much and can actually push in a race. I understand the tire strategy and all but most people arent there to watch a car sit 2 seconds behind another just cause itll destroy his tires if he is any closer. You want to see the drivers push those cars as hard as they can to win the race.
