You still have the stock spare tire holder under there? The chain clanking could be your ringing.

Yes...maybe that is it...I can't really describe the noise though. It's also hard to tell to pinpoint the noise since I can't tell if it's the front or rear going over potholes at speed. Think it's the front but I'll check the spare chain.

Zip tie it up there to be sure/verify if that's it or not.

Yeah I was gonna do something like that. Might also throw my GoPro under there as a backup too.

Might also put the GoPro on the passenger front too since I only checked the driver front the last time.

Doesn't seem like the spare tire chain since I just got under there and tried to shake it but there was no play.

Will try GoPro in front and rear passenger wheel wells.

Washed and interior cleaned today. Also put on new Bosch wipers and mocked up my new wheels. Not the greatest mock up but you can kind of get the gist.

Haha yes I'm just messing with ya.

Well now you pretty much have to get a HC rear...I mean it's just unsafe not to. ;)

I said i'd never chop my bedsides....but a HC rear is most likely cheaper than a new bedside and paint.

Having a paintless dent guy look at it this coming week. I'll get most of it pulled and just add an HC rear to my list

The word you're looking for is "unique" :)

In other news, just signed up for the VA Motorcycle Rider Training Program. 3 day (one evening and two days) course and I get issued a "permit," then go to the DMV after 30 days and get my Class M added. May not be buying a bike for a while but at least wanted to get the Class M added.

I did it last July. Passed with a %100 on all parts. The bike provided was a Suzuki GZ250.

I will be buying a Suzuki DRZ400s soon

Most likely will be a Ninja 300 DFI for me. Don't need anything too big or I'll get myself in either legal or physical trouble...

Motorcycle basic course by Apex Cycles here in Fairfax.

BTW, your armor looks great Luke...very impressive DIY'ing it.
