I just got the 5100 rear shocks and no rear lift with my 6112 fronts. It's the same height front and back as a TRD Pro.

No change in leafs at all just the better shock in the rear and coil over up front? Never seen a pro in person but it looks level. How do you like the ride with your set up?

The ride is very good. It really soaks up bumps well at speed. Since I did the suspension I find myself driving 40 mph down fairly rough gravel roads often. It was pretty reasonably priced too. Think it was about $850 for everything, and I had them assemble the fronts when I ordered. So install was a breeze.

What did you set the 6112s at to level the truck?

Position 2. Also keep in mind that mine is a 2.7 4x4 so it will sit a bit higher than a 4.0 would.

I'm getting very tired of your insults. I'm not gonna respond since I don't want this thread to be locked.
Pro setup is OEM, so more cost. The 6112 fronts sound pretty good for $800.

To match the Pro setup you would have to buy Bilstein 5160's for the rear. And apparently they are not a tuned set, front and rear. The Pro setup was tuned front and rear to match each other. The Pro kit should come with rear brake line extenders since the rear 5160's are designed by Toyota to be extended travel shocks.

Have you driven the Baja/Pro suspension?

Why are you posting in this thread if you have not driven a Baja/Pro suspension?

There is one road that really showed me the advantages of the Baja suspension I put on the SR5, I posted pics on the "Because Baja" thread. It's a road that climbs from the Colorado River at 6000 ft to 10,000 feet. On the road it's about 36 miles with hairpins. There are logging trucks and horse trailers that run that clay road as soon as it is open. I don't know how a Icon/King/Fox suspension would handle that road but I know the Baja suspension climbed and descended fast. That's the beauty of it, high speed and washboards. The way TRD tuned it front and back seems pretty good to me.

Old Toyota's, Power Wagon, and a Tacoma
Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
Well I had the Baja setup and now I have a PRO. Not trying to argue anything, I like them both. Complete list of parts short of the part numbers.

    Front bump stops
    Front coil springs
Front 2.5 inch coilover shocks. Similar to 6112s
Rear 2 inch remote reservoir shocks. 5160 with specific valving.
Aluminum spacer block to raise the brake lines on the axle.
small line clamp to fit the raised line

The rears have a braided steel line on the baja and a rubber covered braided steel line on the pro

The fronts are identical side to side, and there are 2 grooves that the bottom can go on. Similar to how a bilstien 5100 has grooves only they are not hieght adjustable. One groove is for drivers side and one groove is for passenger side.

The lower coil landing or whatever its called on the baja is sqared on the corners and blocky looking. On the pro it has been tapered and looks more production and less custom.

The front of the pro is softer. I get more dive when braking and it rides a little bit shorter. My baja setup was about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch taller stock in the front.

Both trucks have bs stock trd offroad rear springs. My pro was actually lower in the back stock.

I put 20k hard miles on my Baja setup and I loved it. I personally would recommend it to anyone. That said there's nothing wrong with any other aftermarket setup either.

And for the love of god it is not a 5100 lift.. the 5100 lift is good but is not at all the same, and it does not come close to the feel and control offroad. At least not for me.

I also have been looking at a TRD Pro or TX Baja Suspension Kit w/ Bilsteins for my 2014 4 cylinder SR5 tacoma. I found the kit on line at trdparts4u.

    TX BAJA: http://trdparts4u.toyotaofdallas.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=-10512 $1,480.00

    TRD PRO: http://trdparts4u.toyotaofdallas.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=-10412 $1,599.00

Or is there a cheaper aftermarket suspension that will get better performance?

    Bilstein B8 5100: https://bilsteinlifts.com/shop/toyo...0-1-lift-rear-shocks-2016-2017-toyota-tacoma/ $399.99

    Toytec boss: https://bilsteinlifts.com/shop/toyo...ss-suspension-system-2005-2015-toyota-tacoma/
    $1,229.99

Can the Bilstein B8 6112 0-2″ Front and 0-1.5″ Rear 5160 Lift Kit fit on the 2005 to 2015?

    https://bilsteinlifts.com/shop/toyo...1-rear-5160-lift-kit-2016-2017-toyota-tacoma/ $999
