I know every car company has their share of recalls but from what I see, GM and Ford has a lot every year.

I could if I wanted to, but I don't because ya it has cool new features, but its still pretty damn ugly. I'll keep my soon to be new classic. Newer isnt always better. Just my thoughts......:spy:

I love everything about it, just wish they had power seats. That's why I'm going to wait for the 2017 model in 2016 to buy. Hopefully all the kinks will be ironed out.

Yeah I agree I don't like the look of it either and shit I know I can't afford it. I didn't mean it in the way that people don't have the money to get it but like it's been said if you don't like it don't buy it.

He's not alone. That's probably where a fraction of the hate comes from. I'd say you're more in the minority of not wanting your truck... Most have traded by now.

Someone always points this out. Keen eye.

08 Prerunner doublecab sport: First taco I bought stationed in AZ (2wd)
11 access cab 4wd Sr5: Traded the Prerunner for it when I got stationed in NJ (needed 4wd)
15 doublecab longbed sport 4wd: Bought my dream 2nd gen since I could actually afford it or at least the payments, lol.

If my 08 was 4wd I'd still be driving it, loved that truck, just got stuck too many times when going to our riding spots, etc. The accesscab was great, I had a toytec lift on it, etc but when the opportunity came to move into my dream 2nd gen I did. This one will be here for a longggggg time.

Going from a DC to an AC and back to a DC, what was the change in cabin room like? Did the AC feel cramped after driving a DC for 3 years? Curious because I sold my reg cab and I'm leaning towards getting a DC over an AC.

I'm single with a dog so it wasnt much of a big change, at the time I couldnt afford a DC 4WD so the AC was it. Even riding motocross every weekend had room for my gear bag and the dog in back, even built her a platform. My 8 and 12 year old brother had no issues sitting back there either. To be honest the DC is more than I realistically need but its nice for having friends and the extra space for stuff and this is my forever taco so had to get what I wanted. Would I get another AC, sure thing, never felt cramped, but having a family might feel differently. Hope that helps.

No, I have looked and the sales people are totally oblivious to it, but I have looked at the Limited and saw no power seats. It's strange because they have them in the 4Runner.

Wow that is surprising. Not a huge deal but I even have them in my 2003 Tundra Limited. Anyone know is 2nd Gen Tacoma Limited had them? They could still find there way in the 3rd Gen by the release.

Nope, no tacoma currently has them including the 3rd Gen show trucks. I think power seats and power rear window are reserved for potential tundra buyers.

Thanks for quick response. Does this seem silly to anybody else. Come on Toyota.Give me a break. Is the ass on a Tundra driver really that different than the ass of a Tacoma driver.

Hahaha well if the only thing the tundra has on the Tacoma is towing, it would have less buyers. Gotta be appetizing. I do think it's silly to have push button start and not power seats but whatever I guess!

And the Tacoma Limited must be the only Limited model on the planet to not have power seats. Nothing says luxury model like NO power seats. Geez!

Yeah they have always offered power seats in just about every other vehicle they produce but not the Tacoma. I even considered finding 4Runner seats to put in my truck.
