are the 4 door front doors different then the 2 door front doors?

so does anyone know if the front door from a 4 door truck fits a 2 door truck? or are they different sizes?

I just don't know if they just added extra doors or if they shortened the front doors for the 4 door trucks

 

My gut tells me same doors!

 

^^^ What he said, just with a shorter bed. Doesn't make sense to retool and have a different size door.

 

my thoughts as well but when buying parts online you cant return its not something to be guessing or assuming about.

before I buy a door I need to know for sure if it fits or not

 

Just FWIW.. second gen RCs have different front doors than AC or DCs, I'm pretty sure. So you are making the right decision finding out.

hmmm, well no definitive response from anyone yet, so I guess no one knows for sure so I better insist it comes from an ext cab just to be sure.

EDIT: well the guys at the salvage yards don't know either (called about 6 or 7) so they will only sell you what you have.

according to them all the computer lists is the parts in stock based on vehicle type so it only shows the parts from your listed vehicle and nothing that might cross over.

none of them said they ever had anyone try 2 door stuff in 4 door truck or vise versa that they are aware of because the computer wont show parts inventory that way.
