Anyone tackle swapping cam bolts and lower arms bushings on a 2nd gen Tacoma?

Seen it done a few times, have fun getting the cam bolts out if they are seized. If they are may be easier to just cut them off. Then its time to pull the acetylene torch out to burn the bushings and sleeve out.

The front ones are seized. Trying to avoid the inevitable, but it's gotta be done.

Yep had a few rust and stick in, makes them tough to get out but I have done it more than once, torch and cutting tools are your friend! And lots of PB Blaster!!!
And take your time, its not usually a quick process. Its tough to cut them out without doing damage to other parts, but the bolts, bushings and collars will need all to be replaced, so have them on hand.

I had another guy that went to Mexico a lot on the sand and driving though ocean water that had the same issue, made yours seem like a cakewalk relatively speaking anyway. I was surprised his control arms would even pivot with all the crud and rust in there!

Any fab shops/welders in the San Diego area that you guys recommend? I need to remove my rock sliders from one truck then have them welded onto another. Also, looking for someone to fab up an in bed spare tire carrier that lays flat and can be tilted vertical when more bed space is needed. TIA.
