Thanks for the thread. This was a great instruction. I finished this up this afternoon. Works great and will soon be putting one in the front cab area. My brother helped out and he got a little aggressive with the plate cover screws but it still looks great IMHO. :D While I was at it I also did the 400 Watt install. The original instructions were best. i watched the video and the guy says it right the first time but then says it backwards the second.

Might be a dumb question but..If I charge my phone should I have it at 100w or 400w? If I have it at 400w will it charge faster?

100W/400W setting will make no difference to charging your phone. USB charging output circuit is typically limited to 2.1Amps x 5VDC = 10.5Watts.
Some USB charging outputs that came with your devices in the form of an AC Adapter may have a higher charging output for your device, but again, its far less than 100W.

What are you guys using to cut your holes for your outlets? Did it work well or did you have to find something else?

Neutral is the larger slot, live wire is the smaller one and yes, ground is bottom one, doesn't matter if the aren't, but I like to do it this way.
Also yes to ground on vehicle, the but screw that's already a ground with 2 wires already grounded to it. At least in 2nd gen's. Didn't check what you have

I chose a wire cause my back seats are more often folded then not. There isn't much room there for something plugged in with the seat down.
If I need more, I'll just use a 3 outlets power bar.
