I did an experiment w/bracket mounts like those, too flimsy. The fiberglass firestik is light but the final product w/the weight of the led's makes it a lot heavier

Yeah that's what I like do. Cut out my grill fiber glass nd bondo it. Nd make um deep. I always wanted to put the Trd embelem on the mesh. Shit. Nothing look wrong with your truck lol I gatta see that flag pole in action

Great minds think alike, we got the same taste, the mod process looks pretty self explanatory, seen a write-up on it a while back using fiberglass like how ur gonna do em. Idk about the 1st gens but I know the 2nd gens you can utilize the center part of the grill being cut out to fill in the gaps on the side walls of the grill, they just need to be cut to match, glued, bondo, sanded n painted. Going look dope w/dat trd setup, yeah da truck get its normal wear n tear, LCA bushings, upper/lower ball joints, and inner/outter tie rods. Cam bolts might be seized up so I might have to cut em out n replace em. if I can make em out to da cruise can check out da whip, looks way better at night

funny I went to help a friend check out a lifted toyota from Oahu. fricken guy was making like he built it and that it was on island for a long time then he went shut up quick "isnt this all over ig when it was on Oahu?". get choke people who buy shit and act like they did it themself when they bought it like that. not hating the truck but just funny how those people are.

No worries I bought mine built too bro, it's what you do after that makes it uniquely yours. Even the littlest changes shapes it to your truck, mods for days!!
