Okay i've narrowed it down to a flowmaster 40 series that i want. I wanted single in dual out muffler and run dual tips coming out by the hitch.... But they dont sell a single in dual out that has the same diameter as tacoma exhaust. With all that said. Which exhaust would sound best ( offset entry- offset exit, offset- center) or does it really matter? Opinions

It's less Tacoma and more mod
The offset won't matter for sound, you can use either 2.25in or 2.5in. If you go large they'll just use a widening joint or widen your pipe at the end to fit. They used a joint to make mine fit and then widened part of the end.

    Howdy,

I had a V6 Jeep a couple of years ago and had a 60 series FlowMaster installed on it. It was great sounding and didnt have interior drone. The 60 series is designed for 6 cylinder engines. Best FlowMaster that I ever had. I am not sure if it is available with dual outlets. Have a Goodun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the Toyota stock exhaust is metric and some fabricating will need to be done to make anything fit. Why not just by the whole kit? A single outlet will generally be a little louder than a dual setup according to the several manufacturers I questioned when buying an exhaust
