I'm thinking of selling or parting out my truck. I doubt I will ever find motivation to do an engine swap. I bought another truck already so I don't need it either. Hmm. Tough decision. My thought is its not worth much as-is so parting out could bring some good money.

Damn, there is no "I don't like" button.. What truck did you replace it with? The guy who did my engine swap did it in 2 days. Removed in less than a day, waited for new engine to arrive... Installed in less than a day.

    I bought a Sierra Denali.

A 5vz engine swap would be easy, but I don't really want to deal with another underpowered boosted engine. It seems like a waste of time to me. If I'm swapping an engine I want a v8. But that takes time. I lose interest so quickly that halfway into it I would be over and out. I already know how it goes and I think cutting my losses would be better at this point.

Yea I feel it on the v8.. All those ls1 swaps are pretty sweet though, but yea that would definitely take some time and $$. Hopefully I'll be able to get on a Tcase/trans skid before you quit makin em!! Haha..

You would easily make more money returning it to stock and selling the aftermarket stuff. Even if you sold the aftermarket stuff for really cheap just to move them you'd make more in the long run.

Hope you kept your stock stuff...

Do whatever makes sense to you. Parting it out would probably get you the most $ unless you have your stock stuff like Monte said. Its a long process though to wait and get rid of everything.

That's a sweet ride, although a bit too big for me I can understand why you got it. Things ride like a dream and are super plush.

That's a good idea, did you manage to sell everything? Or just enough to scrap little bits that were left

I couldn't DD a motorcycle personally. I like them to an extent but no way for a DD.

Plus, can't pick up truck parts easily :p

I like having a DD and letting Frank break and fix him as needed. Very helpful. And i like having a second truck. But i would like a 3rd car that gets better mpgs and is a bit more...fun or sporty i guess to drive daily.

can't afford that though. Its a miracle i can afford two trucks..

I guess a bike would be more of a good weather and around town vehicle. Truck would still be used a lot. I am nowhere near able to afford another vehicle right now haha its a long way down the road

The only stock parts I have are the front and rear 4.10 diffs, so that option is out. Even just taking the supercharger off would require me to get parts to make it run.

Then you won't be able to sell it much more over a normal truck.
