    I've carried this entry over from the Colorado BS thread as I'd like to get as many opinions on this asap.

    I have a suspension question in regards to the T4R3 but anyone can chime in.
    My drivers side sway bar end is failing & has been since Oct '14. This makes the 3rd pair in about 1.5-2 years. I found some that I like but they won't be in production again until Aug '15. Seeing as I'm going to RT'15 in 16 days, should I:
    • Get 2 trail spares for Moab & put them on prior to driving back home on June 1st?
    • Remove both ends & leave the bar mounted or take it out too?
    • What about the 4R getting squirrelly when going around corners, or emergency maneuvers?
    • Would the stiffness of the Toytec 3" Ultimate suspension lift & the ~500# of armor plating I have on it dampen the squirrellyness or make it worse?

    I replied there, but I'd replace the end, drive to Moab, disconnect it, then reconnect for the drive home


    yeah but with a RTT he might hate how tipsy he gets in the mountains coming from/going to Denver. I know my truck weighs about 1/2 of his and it's "interesting" at 70 through the mountains..

    I had the ultimate kit on my truck with no sway at for years. I couldn't even notice the extra body roll unless I fucked around with it. And I drive like an ass.

    wonder if it has anything to do with being a 2nd Gen... and so a bit wider and longer:confused:

    I say disconnect it. drive up into the mountains... if you can deal, then yeah remove it (I'd save it just in case you get back from moab and change your mind) but if not... I'd do what I suggested before
