the outside looks real nice. is it me or does the tail pipe look extra rusted? the drivers front and passenger back dont have floormats.... and the floor looks really dark like the carpet is destroyed. You'll find your dream Tacoma eventually... and probably at a better price.

I had spoke with the dealer numerous times and had agreed on a much lower price. I had additional pics sent, had him walk the truck with me on the phone pointing out certain things, and everything was checking out. How I know it was flooded is the Interior stunk like mold, and when we lifted the truck I saw the water line and the corrosion all over the undercarriage. Believe me a fight almost broke out.

Almost 19k + fees for a 5 year old truck with an outdated body, seems a bit much; a brand new one should run $24k with fees included.

That really blows if that dealership didn't disclose this to you . I live in San Diego & right after Katrina hit for a short time there were a glut of "brand new" flood victim cars & trucks of all makes that somehow ended up here (makes sense I guess, dry'em out, clean'em up, start'em up & send them as far away from ground zero as possible) You might be able to litigate it but it would depend on the laws in your state I would imagine, but it would be worth a little of your time to investigate your options GOOD LUCK...

yeah it hurts to loose the cash on the trip, but I would have been worse off if I bought it. I think I am done looking for a low milage 1st gen D-Cab. Looks like I will be test driving a 2010 this weekend.

Good Luck with the Hunt! It will probably be the same if you are going to finance the truck, I think that they have 0% 60 months on the new Tacomas.
