He actually posted some pics in his thread a few weeks ago that showed some up close shots of the damage to his doors and fenders.. It's actually scratched to shit. He's just really good at taking photos from the proper angle/distance away from the truck. But it'll be in Flagstaff next week for all to see anyway

still I cant really talk, my truck is a constant garage/trailer/shop/jackstand queen these days. the only time it sees the light is to go play in the dirt. the benefits of owning 2 vehicles I guess

I'm fairly certain he never intended his truck to be a "hardcore rock crawler".. Rather he designed it to take him wherever he wanted to go and be set up to camp in minutes, seems like he accomplished that.. Wether he uses it for it's intended purpose or not, it's really none of our business.

That is a pretty sweet rig, crazy amount of money sunk into it, but you cant bring it with you when you go so might as well spend it.

I've trolled looking for info on A/C maintenance and haven't found much. Does that mean there isn't maintenance required for the taco. Would hate to neglect something like this and pay on both ends $$$ and AZ heat. Anyone have .02c's or recommend A/C technicians?

I can't speak to manufacturer recommendations...but from experience ...ACs are sealed systems, in general if they are not broken don't touch them. Keep your condenser coil clean and the fins straight. Also, change cabin filters based on severity of service, not so much on calendar intervals.

Hey guys. I'm not from Arizona but I thought this would be the best place to ask this question.

My father has a house in havasu and always takes his extremely modded jeep Cherokee to the desert bar in Parker on the back road (not the easy dirt road). I was thinking that next time I head out there it would be fun to take my Tacoma on that trail.

Have any of you done this trail? I have a 4x4 a 3" leveling kit so I have more clearance than stock but I don't want to bite off more than I can chew.

    Thanks in advance!

sounds like a trip to Ace for some allen head bolts and some glue is in order..

was more so asking if a reinforcement plate would be necessary. At work, these are mounted to a wall rail/accessory mount.. which is bolted into the wall. Wondering if I should get small steel plate, or a similar wall mount, or if I can just bolt it directly to the studs.

Ya idk how well it would hold to some studs in a wall. This is how all mine are mounted.
