What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Sold it... Bittersweet day. It has been the best vehicle I've ever owned. 179k trouble-free miles. Literally, the only things I ever had to do were to replace the battery (once), the clutch kit, and one set of front brake pads. Nothing else. Ever.

I paid $16K for it, 6 years ago (it was 3 yrs old and had 60K miles). Sold it for $12K. That's a cost of $4K to drive a vehicle that still drew comments at gas stations on a regular basis. Pretty dang good, IMO.

So, I'm moving up to a Tundra, to tow my camper. So long my friend....

 

Oh, one more thing - any recommendations on a good Tundra forum? I'm having trouble finding one with an app like this one. I'm spoiled to this format - so easy to use!

Been sitting on this thing for a couple weeks......finally got my TRD quick shifter installed.

Love it!!!! its a must if you have a manual. Definitely makes it more enjoyable to drive.

Did you snap any pics during installation?

 

I did not...however, while searching for something on google I stumbled upon this site. google (xr-underground trd short shifter install). This should take you right to the page including pics. Thats what I used.

Picked up my truck today from the dealership after repairing the serpentine belt and cooling hoses. They also replaced the idler bearing. Best thing....all under warranty!

 

How did all this go bad on a 2015???
