    finding the oem part was the hardest, took months cause used access cab parts are hard to come by. you should have an easier time of it with a double cab tho. :thumbsup:

    I hope so. I've been looking for an all black console from a 2012 and up for over a year now and just now found one in CA from a salvage yard. The seller actually just emailed me saying that one of the clips for the cup holders is broken so he's trying to locate another one and then ship it all out. Brand new that whole piece is around $400 from the dealer. Got it for a steal from the salvage yard. Even if he can't locate a cupholder piece with all the clips in tact I'd still take the broken one, I don't see it falling out or anything. I also have a 2012 radio surround like yours waiting to go in for when I upgrade the head unit in a few weeks. Glad to see it fits well in yours since I haven't test fitted mine yet.

    the console takes like 5 min to swap out too, very easy mod. im enjoying having all that grey gone. :D

    it fits ok, but the clips don't hold it as tight as id like. typical for aftermarket tho, the fitment is always meh. I had to fiddle a lot with that bezel and the radio to get it all to sit where it looks decent and semi stock. that's the main reason I got zero aftermarket parts for the pending font end swap.

    the finish on the kit is nice at least, cant tell the difference from oem and it blends well with the surrounding bezel on the head unit itself.

    I know what you mean about the grey. I painted some of mine black and the paint is starting to rub off over the years, hence why I've been looking for a 2012+ console. The vent surround part around the radio I have came off a 2012 as well, shouldn't have problems with fitment and the dash kit I have is a Scosche since it fits better than the Metra. Just need to find the plastic pillar pieces where the seat belts are and swap those out and then most of the grey will gone.

    went by and looked at the paint work progress today, compared a piece to my truck and it looks spot on, could not tell a difference in the color so that's a relief. going back on friday to see if its all ready for pickup.:bananadance:

    next week for sure! I saw all the parts today and they looked perfect. just waiting for the final buffing to be done now. the place im having the paint done also does body work and its only a small bit more for them to put it all on for me in one day so that's what im gonna do. am ready to have this project done. :hungry:
