Ambiguous. Had to send my headlight back that i had for two weeks because it had standing water in it. Had to ship back on my dime. He got it last wednesday. Said he would get it done by Friday. then I was told on Friday that they would try and fix it over the weekend. on Wednesday he said that the so-called new replacement lens will be there on Thursday. Still am waiting to hear back if he even finished it.

I paid for a relay box from skygear two weeks ago. He will not reply back about shipping it. I filed a complaint via paypal to get his attention as well.

Are you talking about the Seven Mile trail in Colorado? If so, how is it? Looking at hitting it during my trip next Summer.

Oh sweet! might have to do that..haha

Skygear i have heard is sketch to begin with and has very long turn around times. So no sympathy from me for him haha

ambiguous though. Dang. that kinda sucks.

No seven mile rim in Moab. No idea which trail you're referring to.

as monte said, they are talking about the one in moab. the one in colorado is pretty tame. i ran it when i was still stock. it's a little short and and more of a scenic trail but still fun none the less

Cool, trying to do a 10-14 day trip through Colorado to Wyoming for Yellowstone next Summer. Having a hard time deciding on what trails to do because as if right now it's only going to be me and my fiancé in my truck. So I don't want to push it too hard. Sounds like it's a calm one though.

seven mile would be a good one then. deadman pass and killpecker are close to the end of the seven mile and worth checking out (the old fire tower is pretty cool). if you're in ft collins you could check out moody hill/ crystal mtn just west of town if you want something a bit more challenging but not crazy. just make sure they are open when you roll through

Awesome. I'll add those to the list to do research on.

I'll definitely be going through Denver and Ft Collins. Then straight from Ft Collins to Yellowstone.

I want to try and get a good combination of scenery/attractions and some mild trails that would keep it interesting. Any other recommendations let me know. This is the list of what I've been looking at in Colorado:

    Georgia Pass (Glacier Ridge/Peak)
    Mt. Evans road
    Saxon Mt road
    7 Mile Creek
    Bear Lake
    West White Pine Mtn
    Kelly Flats

Keep in mind that there are two sevenmile trails in Colorado.
As far as wheeling in Colorado, if you wanted to do harder trails just post up in our upcoming events thread and see if anyone might be able to join you.

Good to know. I think the one I've been looking at taking is Just North of Rustic, CO.

Thanks for the tip, I'll have to remember to ask once it come closer. Unfortunately this is still a year and 4 months out. But I need something to fill up some time so I figured I'd start making plans... Haha

No, it's happening this time! I have plenty of time to get all the maintenance done to feel comfortable taking it on a 3000 mile trip like this haha

The last one gave me 3-4 months to plan, try to get the money for maintenance, gas, and other gear. And then couldn't get leave for the days anyways. I'm requesting leave for this trip in January. 8 months ahead this time ;)

I'm really just angry at myself for deleting all the info I had saved for the last one...

The best road trips are those with a start point and an end point. Don't plan to much, just have an idea of where you will be and explore. Seriously though, take a trip through medicine bow national forest when coming from fort collins into wyoming.

Yeah, I want to have an idea of where I'm going so I'm not trying to find stuff things in the middle of the trip and miss some good scenery. But at the same time I don't want to be rushing to make everything I want to do. Noted, researching haha

you won't get to see everything..period. Haha too much to see really. You could spend that much time easily in just a one of the mountain ranges you'll be in. and not see 1/2 of them.

    so plan on coming back!

    Haha oh I'm sure!

I keep thinking and researching on what is in each mountain range, but truth be told I'll just be happy to be back in the mountains again and not care whether or not I get to see the "best" views. I wish I could go this year!

Yeah, if I set time aside to do a big trip I would get to the location ASAP, then spend as much time as I could there. Kinda like Jason does when he takes his monthly summer vacations to Montana. Being on the road constantly can be pretty stressful. More so for the passenger.
