BTW, are we doing the actual clean up day on Saturday or Sunday. I can't remember for sure but I think it was supposed to be on a Sunday because Jon4x4 works on Saturday.

Haha, wow, we're like rats leaving a sinking ship. I'm not ready to bow out yet, but it's not looking good. I tore my back up some how, so it's going to be a few days before I get to replacing the axle seal on the OGT. Add to that, she's not running properly ATM. She's idling at 2 grand and I suspect I'm going to be pulling the throttle body to disassemble and clean it. If she's not running passably by the Sunday in question, I won't have a choice but to back out.

 

Im in if it doesn't cost me $55 this time lol

 

My Prom is the 16th so I can't come on Saturday but depending on how long you guys are there Sunday I might be able to drive down for just Sunday.

 

Well Sunday is the main day we will be out there.

Don't think I'm going, I need to come home early sunday morning and that is the day of the cleanup/point of going.

 

I'm still in, I have that day off and I fixed my rubbing problem with the pinch weld mod.

 

I am out as well, family calendar filled up :-(

 

So...stick a fork in me. I think I'm done...unless someone has an airbox for a 1st Gen V6 laying around that they aren't overly proud of.

 

Slap some duct tape on that bad boy. I am still in. We will be camping at Holder Mine Saturday night

 

I thought about it, or at least laying up a fiberglass patch, but unfortunately, that's where the mount broke off which would only leave one out of the three mounts remaining (and the last one is pretty damn brittle). So it's either a new air box or a CAI, and a CAI is just asking for water ingestion, IMHO. Regardless, I'm not going to make it. I'm going to at least have to pull the throttle body to clean out the idle air bypass valve and if I wanted to do it right, I'd probably be pulling the intake to clean it out as well. All while hoping she didn't breathe enough FOD to toast the piston rings, which probably wouldn't take much on a motor with 170k miles on it.

 

Alright man sucks cause you know the trails more than anyone else, you should just ride up with rick and yall can ride with me on the trails haha

 

Meh, if Ryan is still going, he probably knows them just as well or better than I do, but yeah, it does suck, especially since a new one from toyota is going to run about $388. Makes driving to Jacksonville to snag that one someone has on CL for $40 seem almost reasonable.

BTW, Rick can't go either. It's his wife's B-day.
