So I'm gettin this vibe felt in the pedals around 40mph. It feels like a rotational vibe, comes and goes, comes and goes. Not getting the take off shudder. I have icons up front about 2.5 lift. Tsb pack and icon 3 leaf in the rear. My tires are nitto TG 285/70/17. The dealer installed a small shim when they did my tsb leaf pack but the shims were installed backwards (big end forward). I don't recall having this vibe then. But now that I flipped it around with the small end forward it's pretty noticeable. What do you guys think. I was goin to give the cb drop a try.

Don't follow everyone on here, so excuse the questions. 4wd? Did you recently lift it? Does that 40 mph cyclical vibe go away when you switch it to 4wd and come back a moment later when returning to 2wd? Does it lessen a little when taking a hard right turn around 40?

Yes it is 4wd. I have had the lift on for about 10k miles now and about 20k miles on the truck. I haven't checked to see if it goes away in 4wd yet.

If it goes away in 4wd, then it's likely the driver's front diff needle bearing. ECGS makes a bushing to fix that. What made me think that's the cause is that 40 mph is the speed at which it's the worst and you're likely to feel it. It does produce a cyclical vibe in the pedal/floor. The best test is that it goes away while in 4wd.

This sounds like the culprit. I'll test it out after work today. Has anyone replaced theirs besides moose? I'm not confident to do this myself.

Figured out my mysterious *clunk* from my driver side front end! One of my LCA spindle bolts was not fully tightened just enough to allow the spindle to separate by a hair anytime I hit a bump and it was *clunking* hard! Just hit some bumps and its nice and stock :*(

So yea...that's my cool story for today.

Haven't replaced mine with the bushing yet. ECGS came out with the bushing about 7 months after we replaced mine with another needle bearing at one of Jerry's Mod days back at his house (pre-shop days). If Greg has another mod day at his shop, we could take care of it there.
