It's already stated the pro models are coming back.

Agreed. I also dislike the black fender treatments on the Off Road

You mean the plastic that will surely fade to a grey color in a few years? I agree.

It's not exactly parking sensors. They are rear cross traffic alerts. So basically its a parking sensor that's on a 120 degree angle so when you're backing out of a spot it can warn you if a car is coming down the lane. The backup camera probably doesn't have a wide angle lens so the RCTA fills in the wide angle so you can know if a car is driving down the lane when you're initially backing out.

Neat. Any idea if that function operates for blind spot/lane change purposes at highway speeds?

I'm not sure. Although, I was looking at the pictures again and there is a button that says BSM... I can only assume its blind spot monitoring. It would make sense if it works for both.

I really like it. Before I was undecided about the DCLB and AC but for some reason this DCSB looks really good. I just can't understand what the bottom lip on the front bumper is for.

Does anyone know if its for a special purpose? I mean it sticks out 3 inches which is a decent amount. Seems kinda pointless if its just for looks.

I just noticed the button in the pics as well. I agree, makes sense it would do both.

It is used for deflecting wind and therefore increasing fuel mileage. It also is easily removable if you want to take it offroading. I saw one at the car show and it had 8-10 screws which are easily accessible. You should be able to remove it in about 2 minutes.

I guess bottom lip wasn't a good enough description haha. I know about the wind deflector, I'm talking about the front bumper, just below the grill and black plastic separating the fog lights.

I had the "Push to Start" along with "Key-less Entry" in a 2014 Rogue I was driving for awhile and it grew on me, it is a nice feature to have IMHO, you never have to take the keys out of your pocket - it's great once you are use to it...

Thank you for posting these pictures!! I was waiting to see the new tacoma in a different color, and in this configuration to me it looks bad ass! At first I hated the look of this truck especially with that infamous front grille, but I'll be damn this truck is growing on me, I think I'm falling for it. I remember when the 2nd generation tacoma's came out, I hated their look and now I love them, looks like I'll feel the same for the 3rd Gens. Great job Toyota!!

I only now noticed the "TOYOTA" on the tailgate handle lol. The tailgate looks pretty busy. I wonder where they plan on mounting the front license plate?
