You can clearly see this is just a long bed prerunner with the sr package and someone slapped on a TRD Sport decal (its also not in the right spot).

Not saying the dealer did this buy if they had any idea or clue they would know its not a sport. I doubt they are trying to take advantage of someone it just shows that the sales people know nothing about the cars they are selling...

    End rant lol

Since it is a used vehicle, the previous owner may have placed the sticker on the tacoma.

It is true that many sales people do not know much about certain vehicles. I have met some that were very informed and some that were not.

imo, it is up to the buyer to educate themselves on the product they want to purchase and to know when the sale person is blowing smoke.

Agreed. I am sure the previous owner put that on there. Just sucks the dealer will try and sell it as something its not.

True. But that truck isn't sitting on Billy Bob's Used Car & Taco Stand lot. Its on a Toyota lot and they know darn well its a "forgery." Removing a sticker only takes a few minutes and they are paying a lot boy regardless.

    The opposite:

I took the TRD Sport stickers off my last Tacoma. Traded it in. Is it the dealers responsibility to replace the stickers?
