    from what i can see is theres 4 bolts that attach it to the suspension compenents and theres a couple bolts where the brake line comes in around the bleeder valve... but theres two sets of brakes lines coming in to which is weird but ive never messed with drums b4

    You need to un-adjust the brakes. And quit hitting it with a metal hammer, you are going to crack the drum.

    Remove the oblong rubber plug on the backing plate. Get two flathead screwdrivers. One pushes the adjuster ratchet out of the way, the other spins the adjustment wheel. Loosen the brakes and it should come off.

    im trying to take change the brakes on a 2000 celica and the passenger drum will not budge, i think b/c the shoes are out

    Take a 10mm bolt....stick it into the threaded hole in the drum, and tighten it. It will pull the drum right off.
