Frank Raines was a great time! Not without some ridiculousness though...

Friday afternoon we're hangin in the campsite and hear some LOUD bird noises close by. Thought maybe turkey, but it was too a weird sound. Minute later two peacocks come walking by! Hilarious and confusing to see them there.

See and hear em a bunch more throughout the day/night. Walk the dog this morning and one is standing on the fence, the other is dead with a small caliber (possibly pellet) head wound. There was a young man, woman and baby right there the night before. Early morning they're gone, campsite trashed, peacock shot dead. WTF is wrong with people?!!!?

Wow that is so shitty... Can't believe people do that. Where I camped last night there were peoples clothes/beer bottles under a blanket. Did have a few elk pass by the tent this morning

We all spent some time cleaning up our campsite and left it A LOT better than we found it. There was broken glass everywhere. Picked up as much as I could bc my 1yr old was with me. I can't understand the mentality of the masses that camp and trash the place.

Oh I had thought you had it done. Anyhow tested it tonight and sure enough it went away in 4wd. I have an apt Monday. I was thinking having the dealer replace the diff, bearing and axel if they are willing. Then put in the new bushing.

My cool story. Finished training tonight. But not before starting a huge 7 acre fire at Camp SLO. Expending our machine gun rounds on the turrets and caused a massive brush fire. Called CalFire and went straight to voicemail. Oops. Called 911 and they forwarded it to them. We pack up and leave and passed 15 fire trucks hauling ass onto post. We're going home and they've gotta clean up lol
Ironically. We had asked them to do control burns on the ranges cause our tracer rounds start fires EVERYTIME... They cancelled it. Payback lol have fun guys.

That has to be a shitty field of view looking out over that hood. Talk about not seeing half of the road in front of you. I just swapped hoods and its still weird lookin over a scoop let along a lifted hood.

Wheel change. Screw HiLifts, we use mobile wreckers and cranes to lift trucks. Lol

Yea it's not tooooo bad, but you can't see little civics right in front of you :D.

When i got my bilstein 5100's and OME 885s installed back in the day, the dumbass installer put them at the highest setting, instead of the bottom setting like I asked. My front end had something like 6" of lift with stock leafs in the rear lol. He was like "I Put it there because I know that's what you Cali white boys like, right?" I told him F no, fix it, but he insisted I drive it around to see how I like it and if I didn't he'd fix it for free...i drove it around the block to my apartment and called Down South Motor Sports who were like " F NO, that's unsafe for the coils and shocks!" so the next day i went back and he made me wait like 3 hours while he did a couple tire changes and just kept giving me the evil eye. Needless to say, i never went back, even though he was within walking distance to my apartment.

I am! But I'm also taller than most, wasn't saying I couldn't see. Just a different view than what I've seen the last 2 years. Haha

Yeah, saw that on the Hollister page. Looked up Molina Ghost Run. While I'm sure it was a good time, it wasn't quite what we were looking for. It was also my 1yr olds first camping trip. $55 for a guided run, dinner, and a raffle ticket at Hollister. Surely a bunch of people. Instead we had a nice secluded spot at Frank Raines with no one around. Worked out pretty well. I'll check out the MGR another time
