Get the engine diagnosed and, depending on price, fixed, then sell it for what it's worth. If it costs you a couple G's to get it running, someone is going to give you 8-10K for that beast.

It is just nuts and bolts...I would get a used motor and install it. All of the missing parts related to the supercharger can come off of the donor vehicle. Suck it up, get it running and sell it. You will be paying yourself for the labor because you aren't going to get much money out of it in the current state. Go scope out the self serve yards up there. Motors aren't that expensive if you pull it yourself.

So guys I was doing frame plates today and I went to take my bed off and got the 2 front bolts out but both back bolts started spinning. Should I just cut the heads off then push the bolt out and re tap the holes ? or what would you guys do ?

There at 6 bolts total and 4 could be considered back bolts. I assume the ones giving you trouble are the ones with a teardrop shaped head? Can you hold the head with a vise grip?

Yeah, there is an actual head on those two unlike the front four albeit a weird shaped head that is not supposed to turn. Come on up and help me remove my bed. I can teach you all about it. haha

I might be able to make it out there Sunday if you are ready.

I could be ready for the bed at least but that doesn't do me a whole lot of good. Especially since the bed may be providing some structural integrity at the present time. I really need to have my ducks in a row to capitalize on any extra hands, i.e. moving the cab etc. I don't want to make the truck inoperable until your stuff is out either.

When do you think you will be ready? I would just as soon do it all whenever you need me.

I don't know for sure. I could potentially be ready on Sunday. I have a feeling just getting ready to move the cab will take a fair amount of time. I also need to make sure I can rent another unit for a month or so. That is just a phone call that will happen tomorrow. If I am not 100% ready I can get others to help I just thought since you would be down getting your stuff anyway it would be a good time.

I was kidding, Pete. It would be five hours one way for you. haha I plan on moving everything as is. I suppose I could take the seats out since they are easy to get out but they don't really add that much weight. My other idea is take the doors off and run a 2x12" between the door frames, extend my engine hoist and lift up on the board inside of the cab instead of the headliner.

It sounds like there might not be another unit opening up until June 1st. I may reconsider my plan and just move the cab outside of my shop where the truck is currently parked and take the bed home with me. What weekend is best for you?

We will be out of town next weekend. I have other people that can help me move stuff when I am ready. If you want or need the stuff come down tomorrow and grab it. It's all good.
