I got rid of my Miata for the Tacoma. Good trade off for Colorado in my opinion.

I dumped a Focus ST for the Tacoma. The car just wasn't a good fit for me. First hot hatch I've had, and I just missed having a truck. I nearly convinced the wife I needed the Taco as a tow vehicle for the Miata, but that got a bit of an eyeroll. Hey, I got the Taco anyway, at least.

I really liked the ST. Mine was a base model, so no Recaros, MyFord touch or anything. It was a quick, inexpensive car. Quality was a bit better than I thought it would be considering it was a Focus. My issue was I had two fun cars, the ST, and the Miata. I need to balance it out.

odd question for you guys. Anyone have any knowledge on the leveling kits for a Chevy 1500. Was thinking about attempting to put the 2.5 inch leveling kit I bought on myself then I realized I know nothing about the torsion bars, so before I pay someone to do it I though Id ask. It's new torsion keys, shocks all the way around, and blocks in the rear until I find a good deal on air bags for the rear.

A small handful of select mods.
The torsion keys allow you to clock the torsion bars and then wind them up more leveling the front. As Eric says if the kit came with decent instructions you should be able to get it done with a decent garage and tools.

ya he got it last month. Still has the 4R though.

Lol I almost said the same thing. He could do it, but he's fallen off the planet lately it seems. I see him on a rare occasion...he traded in his Chevy for an FJ Dec2013

Didn't mean for that to come out so rude.

Just surprised Dev bought a Chevy cause he always talks about a Tundy!

Yeah but I'm paying 60k for my wife's school right now. :) so when she's done I'll get a tundy.
Yes, just until the ball and chain is done with school. Needed a v8 im looking at getting a smaller toy hauler.
We shall see I've just never messed with them.
Thought about asking him. Actually sold the 4Runner. Someone gave me what I was asking and in cash, it was nice to have the funds to replenish my bank account a little I've been spending money too quickly these days... It's about to get worse, need a new hunting tent, and looking at a few campers.

Yes the 4runner would not pull any thing more than my Atv trailer. So it would have just sat there and never gotten driven, I've had multiple vehicles in the past and it's not for me. Didn't want the tundra payment right now so I bought the Chevy. I don't like having payments on vehicles so when my wife is done with school ill go buy one.

    Mine in a nutshell:

Crawl space is flooded. Again. (Sept 2013)

About a foot of standing water throughout the dirt, now shin deep mud. It's just high water table flooding... and my house is the only one on the block with this much of an issue.

I have three air movers in there (with one exhausting to the outside) and one dehumidifier.

I am calling contractors in for bids to do a regrade, footer tile, sump pump. After that's installed I'm installing a vapor barrier myself. F this S.

Over my v6 4Runner? Of course it will tow better a v8 half ton vs a v6 SUV. I've had 4 toyota 4x4's.... Statistically I'll have another one...

Yea I'm not looking forward to hauling the new camper to Moab this week. It's 4100lbs dry + my dirt bike + gear. The Tacos gonna hate me. Definitely gonna look for a V8 or a coal roller soon.
