Your steering didn't feel smooth before? I would not have thought it was necessary to change out the fluid on a 4 year old truck.

I changed all the fluids today because instead of buying a new truck I decided to keep this one a few more years so I wanted all new stuff. Was pretty brutal looking out of all the tranny, diffs, and other fluids

Finally got around to mounting my TREDS in the bed. I think I'm gonna try an do something better for securing them though. The wing nut and fender washer combo is not ideal._EP38034.jpg _EP38044.jpg _EP38046.jpg _EP38048.jpg _EP38049.jpg

They only come in black. But look OEM.

My only issue is the door rubber closed on the plastic. Not sure if this will be an issue long term.

Cleaned throttle body and MAF. They weren't too bad. Hoping to do spark plugs next weekend. 42,000 KMS. Unhooked negative terminal before starting. Left unhooked for about an hour. Idled high at first. Went for a 30mins drive and now all back to normal.

The same shit everyone else has.
I painted the wheels on my truck this weekend. Im not sure how I feel about the color. It seems almost too dark for my liking -

    27575B18-DF5D-4CBE-BCED-EE445A2BD04C_zps_a16aa9af96c10af748e0c0aa13787bc14d62ce41.jpg

It was 90* and sunny here today. The paint laid funny because it was so hot. It dried before it hit the wheels so the clear is real splotchy. I need to scuff them down and shoot them again when its not so hot out. I may change them back to a more OEM silver. And I also need to order some TRD FJ center caps for them.

I found this as well when I took them off -

    14C8DB8F-AB6A-403D-B936-46FD16FD67F2_zps_b489a17818fc936fff4fd2756b28a73bb6e8fa44.jpg

Roughly 20K on it and that 5100 is blown. I emailed Down South Motorsports about it, hopefully they respond soon.

Neat. Is there anything out there similar to this but for the iPhone?

my father got me a new bumper off ebay for my bday. It was the flat black one. We have a friend who used to work in a body shop and now just works out of home. he has always done all our work on cars etc. He does amazing paint/body work. I got a pint of ssm paint, and he painted the new bumper, removed the old one, and installed the new one for $75. The thing looks factory brand new. ( and he sold my old one for me).

Washed and waxed my cap in preparation for toprac install. Went well. Then washed the rest of the truck.

The more I see that hidden winch set-up, the more I want one over the ARB bumper.
