Well, there ya go then, more reason to do it. There just aren't enough Beatrices, Gertrudes, Irmas, Elouises, Berthas, Corines, Margarets or Stephanasias any more. Please just spare the world any 60s hippy universe or object names like moonbeam or tablespoon. :D

ok, i'm not trying to step on any toes. i have no idea what the significance behind these names are. for all i know they are family names. but when i look at them, they all look like names you'd see headlining at a strip club. for once i'm actually trying not to be a dick, just felt the need to point that out. personally i love the name Ginger, but would never name my daughter that cause it just sounds like a stripper name. just my two cents

I voted for Brooklynn, but I would drop the extra "n". My wife and I have spent our entire lives spelling our names to people, and it sucks. Like nd said, they may have some special meaning to you and that's awesome, but think about every day usage. When you tell people face to face, how many ask about spelling, make a face, or need you to repeat it? My kids have normal first names, but each one's middle name is after a grand parent.

    my $.02

Also, practice yelling the name, as if she just did something you told her not to. Does it flow well? Does it give you the sound of authority?

You guys have it all wrong with these names. I have a name that you could use that will knock your socks off, it is very new and your baby could be the first to use it. Here you go, you can name her "Seven", which was Mickey Mantle's number!

This was a joke by the way, I got it off of one of the Seinfeld episodes. I picked Hannah, has a nice ring to it.

I was kinda hoping that if we named her "Hannah" that she'd turn out to be 16, famous, and a huge alcoholic bitch. But yeah, the dam radio is always playin that "party in the USA" song. I find my self semi suicidal when it plays over for the third time of the hour.

It is a nice name though!
