Is there any chance that a 285/70/17 will fit (and no rub)without removing the front flaps? This is with a 3" LIFT, 2.5* CASTER and Camburg UCA's.

Next question: How bad does removal of flaps effect paint chips to rockers and other paint damage to sides of truck?

    1) Not a chance. They will rub both the little front air deflector flaps and the mud flaps.

    2) You're gonna get mud and spray all over the truck. I would suggest a set of sliders and RokBlokz mudflaps, but there are other options out there.

    Good luck!

OK, I went ahead I ordered some BFG KO2's in 275/70/17 in hope I will be able to leave the flaps on. I will run these until I have some $ for Bushwhackers flares and 1 or 2" body lift down the road. Thanks!
