Hi all, I'm on my third new Toyota, all have been trucks. It started in 2002 with an AC Tundra. Loved that truck. Had I not been laid off not too long after I bought it, I'd still have that truck now. About 10 vehicles later, picked up a 2012 Tundra CrewMax, while looking at DC Tacos. My wife (and incentives) talked me into the Tundra. I've since realized the error of my ways and picked up the Tacoma. I do miss the interior space at times, and definitely miss the full-down rear window, but overall I'm really happy with the Tacoma. Nice ride, exactly what I've wanted, and happy to join TW. And my son's favorite feature is the weather map. Ha.

Mine is Barcelona Red. Pretty color, as I've had black, white, and gray vehicles for the past few years and wanted to switch it up. I narrowed it down to this and a Blue Ribbon. I tend to swap vehicles about every 18 months, but feel like this one is a long term truck.

I've since added 18% tint on the front windows, a bed mat, and WeatherTechs. Side steps (black OEM) for my 5 year old son will be here tomorrow. He's been very patiently waiting for them to arrive and was a bit peeved at FedEx, as they canceled delivery on Friday due to rain (no flooding in my area).

For good measure, my 2 previous Toyotas:

Yes it is, a '92 Miata that I play around with. I just swapped the clutch/flywheel on it, and in progress on some other maintenance right now. Hoping to get it buttoned back up this week and back on the road. It's been out of commission for about a month.

Thanks! After having black vehicles, I figured blue was too close to black, I was tired of washing the rides as often as I needed to keep them clean. My wife's ride is also dark blue, so 2 I also figured we needed some variation.

Yeah it may as well be a black car, but you can't do anything cool like you can on a black car.
It shows everything and gets dirty fast.
